Fishing Rates
Terms quoted for fishing are per rod/week (6 days), include the services of ghillies, and Temporary Membership of Grimersta Sporting Club.
Early Season Week 1. June 10th to June 18th £1,700 (£285/day).
Early Season Week 2. June 17th to June 25th £2,100 (£350/day).
Main Season. Week 3 to Week 18 (June 24th to October 15th) £2,800 (£465/day).

Board and Accommodation
The rate for board and accommodation at Grimersta Lodge is £1,520 per week or £215 per night and is standard throughout the season. This includes breakfast, a picnic lunch, afternoon tea and dinner, and assumes 8 nights’ accommodation. There is no charge for the second Wednesday night as some guests may be required to move rooms to allow changeover.

Service Charge
To meet the requirements of the Employment (Allocation of Tips) Act 2023, a Service Charge of £140 per week or £20 per night will be added to the invoice for Board and Accommodation. This will be passed entirely to the lodge staff through the monthly payroll, and this replaces any previous informal arrangements for tipping lodge staff.

Lodge Parties
Lodge parties allow private use of the lodge (other than on changeover nights) and are available throughout the season. Lodge parties are offered on the basis of 8 rods. If there are less than 8 rods then either the full rate is payable, or the lodge may be made available to other guests. Additional or non-fishing guests will be invoiced for board and accommodation at the daily rate.
Invoices

Guests will be invoiced for a deposit of £1,000 per rod when the reservation is confirmed, and this will be offset against the fishing rate. Invoices for the outstanding balance of the fishing, and for board and accommodation will be issued some ten weeks prior to arrival and are payable at that time. After each visit a subsequent invoice for additional items such as tackle, drinks and sundries will be issued and is payable upon receipt. Unless previously arranged with the Factor, the person making the booking will be responsible for settling the account of their guest or party and all liabilities incurred.

Value Added Tax.

All prices include VAT where appropriate.

Cancellation

In the event of a cancellation, we will readvertise the vacancy. Should a late cancellation occur, and we are unable to let the vacancy, the full cost of the booking is payable.

Health & Safety

All Rods must wear life jackets when in a boat. Failure to wear a life jacket invalidates insurance cover and ghillies have been instructed not to proceed until Rods comply. Rods are strongly advised to wear suitable eye protection when fishing
