The Grimersta System - Amongst the Worlds' Finest Salmon River Systems

The Grimersta, on the west coast of the beautiful Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides is widely regarded as one of the most prolific small salmon systems in Europe.

The headwater, Loch Langavat in the mountains of north Harris feeds a series of lochs and streams flowing north to the Grimersta River and then to the Atlantic at Loch Roag.

Fishing is by fly only with eight Rods sharing the four principal beats. Guests are accommodated in Grimersta Lodge which provides a warm welcome, comfortable accommodation and with a rapidly growing reputation for superb dining.
