Grimersta Lodge GR NB 218303
From both airport and ferry, follow signs for Tarbert. Take the A859 south for approx. 11km.to Liurbost (Leurbost, new school on left, petrol station on right). Turn right (signpost for Gearraidh na h-Aibhne, Uig and Bernera). 12km to Gearraidh na h-Aibhne (Garynahine, prominent white lodge), turn left (signpost for Uig and Bernera) over River Blackwater, round series of bends at head of sea loch and over River Grimersta. Turn Right (signpost Linsiadar) — do not follow road round to left to Linsiadar, but turn through gates before the old bridge. Grimersta Gatehouse is the wood clad house on the left, proceed along the lodge road for 0.5km to Grimersta Lodge.
Journey time: from Stornoway allow 30 minutes, from airport allow 40 minutes.
